A booking engine for charitable cultural events, among them a ballet, symphonic and film-music concert at a hall in Cluj. The platform is built for many events and many venues: the seat map, the copy and the access rules are configured per event, and each guest gets their own link that drops them straight into their booking flow — no account, no password.
Each event gets its own micro-site, and this is the part that matters to the organiser: the page carries their brand, not the platform’s. The club’s logo replaces the Eventum wordmark, the navigation belongs to the event — programme, hall, cause, booking — and the cause gets a page of its own, with the beneficiary explained at length and the share of revenue that reaches them. An attendee does not land on a ticketing form; they land on the site for that evening.
Pages are built in an editor with live preview: the page on the left, the structure on the right. Sections carry an index, a label, a title and a lede, and repeatable blocks — the performer spotlights, for instance — are added, reordered by dragging, and removed, each with its image from the library or uploaded on the spot, with alt text. The organiser writes their own evenings without calling me.
The analytics are about money and conversion, because at a charitable event those are the questions: pledged against collected, how full the hall is, and the pledge rate. The funnel shows where people drop out — invited, registered, booked, confirmed, pledged, donated — and the time series puts confirmations beside reservations, day by day. There is a per-event breakdown too, with guests, confirmations and RON pledged.
Invitations and reminders go out from a built-in mail client, on templates the organiser writes, over SMTP or a delivery service, plus a separate worker that carries the links straight to WhatsApp — for an audience easier to reach on a phone than by email. A Go API, an intermediate layer for authentication, PostgreSQL underneath and a thin React surface with light and dark themes. It runs on two separate servers inside a private network, with encrypted nightly backups to another location.
